Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (FZU) is a leading public research institution based in Prague and is looking for candidates for the position Project Administrator - Physics for Future.
We are looking for a new colleague to join our P4F project team.
About the project: The Physics for Future (P4F) is an MSCA COFUND programme designed to recruit 60 fellows over two recruitment cycles, in autumn 2023 and 2025. We are seeking talented postdoctoral researchers who have completed their Ph.D. in Physics and have no more than 8 years of research experience since their Ph.D. award.
Your role
You will work closely and collaboratively with the P4F managers and coordinator, researchers, and administrative staff in order to achieve the goals of the P4F project.
What will you do
- Communication with programme applicants, you will become their first point of contact with P4F/FZU
- P4F website maintenance
- Support the preparation, coordination, and monitoring of the P4F activities, being in contact with internal and external interlocutors
- Organize the record-keeping and other programme-related administrative tasks

- Advanced English and Czech language (written and spoken) – daily communication
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- MS Office user knowledge

- Positive and proactive attitude
- Willingness to cooperate on a long-term basis and to learn new skills
- Previous experience in administration is an advantage
- Experience with Wordpress/Wix/other CMS is an advantage
